Your online MBA institute

What we teach

The whole curriculum, free: all 14 papers and 51 credits of an MBA, subject by subject — what each covers, what it is like to study alone, how it is assessed, and whether it repays the effort. That is the institute part and we mean it. Most people enrol in a two-year programme without ever seeing the syllabus. You can read all of it here, at no cost, before giving anyone a rupee or a dollar.

The programme we run

We run an online MBA with IICT Lucknow — the Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade — and IIPM Lucknow, the Indian Institute of Pharmaceutical Marketing — autonomous institutes operating since 1997, with alumni in more than 30 countries. US$400 for the complete qualification, one or two years, fully online, open worldwide. It is described in full here, including the part most sellers leave out: it is an institute award, not a UGC-entitled university degree, and we set out exactly when that distinction will matter to you.

How we keep the two apart

This site also ranks 337 other institutions by statutory standing. Running a programme and ranking competitors is a real conflict, so:

• Our programme is excluded from the tiers. It does not appear in them and is not compared favourably against them.
• The tiers are ordered by statute — open universities, institutes of national importance, deemed and state universities — which is a legal fact we neither control nor hold.
• Every page that ranks providers carries a disclosure saying we run one. Not in the footer; in the body, where you will actually see it.
• We send people to competitors. The programme page tells you plainly to take a university degree instead if you need it for government recruitment, a PhD, or a policy naming a degree — and links to the open universities.

Why we do not publish a "best colleges" ranking

We have no verified data on teaching quality or placement for 337 institutions, and neither does anyone else publishing one. We group by what is checkable and give you the criteria for the rest. The criteria are here.

If you are outside India

Most of this site is useful anywhere; the provider directory is India-specific because it is built from the Indian register. Our own programme is open worldwide. If you need a qualification formally evaluated by a foreign government or licensing body, read the credential evaluation section before you enrol — it is the one place where an institute award and a university degree genuinely diverge.

How it is paid for

Institutions pay the network this site belongs to when a student enrols through it, and we run one of the programmes ourselves. That is the whole commercial picture. You pay us nothing.
